A community grows through the flow of giving and receiving.

We believe meaningful experiences should have room for people in different seasons of life.

Sometimes we have more to give.

Sometimes we need more support.

Sometimes we can contribute financially. Sometimes we contribute our time, energy, skills or presence.

Reciprocity creates space for all of it.

Giving and receiving are both part of community.

Community isn't built by everyone contributing the same thing.

It's built when people contribute what they can, when they can, and when there's room to receive when that's what the season calls for.

Our reciprocity model creates different ways to participate so that access to Mana Flow isn't determined solely by financial capacity.

You don't have to prove that you need support.

You don't have to justify receiving.

And when you have more capacity, you have the opportunity to help create that same access for someone else.

That's community.

Supported Exchange

For seasons when receiving more is what makes sense.

A lower contribution for those who are honoring their current circumstances and need a more accessible way to participate.

Receiving isn't taking away from the community.

Receiving is part of the exchange.

Balanced Exchange

The standard contribution.

A contribution that reflects the time, energy, resources and care that go into creating and holding the experience.

This helps sustain Mana Flow and allows us to continue creating opportunities for the community.

Generosity Exchange

For seasons when you have more to give.

A contribution above the standard exchange that helps create greater access for others and supports the continued growth of Mana Flow.

Your generosity becomes someone else's opportunity.

Choose what feels sustainable for you.

Your exchange isn't a reflection of your worth.

It's simply a way to participate in the collective based on your current capacity.

You may choose supported exchange during one season of life and balanced or generosity exchange in another.

Capacity changes. Seasons change. That's okay.

Sometimes reciprocity isn't financial.

There are many ways to contribute to a community.

You might:

Tend the land
Help care for the spaces where people gather.

Support the garden
Plant, harvest, water or help something grow.

Care for animals
Contribute time and attention to the animals who are part of the land.

Share a skill
Teach something you know or offer your expertise.

Bring food
Share something nourishing with the community.

Support families
Help create space for caregivers and children.

Share your gifts
Bring your creativity, knowledge, presence or ideas.

Volunteer
Give your time toward the ongoing work of Mana Flow.

Not everything valuable has a price.

When we give, someone else can receive.

When we receive, we have more to give when our capacity returns.

And the cycle continues.

Your exchange helps keep the collective moving.

Your contribution supports the time, energy and resources required to create and care for these spaces and experiences.

It helps support:

  • The people who facilitate experiences

  • The care of the land

  • Materials and supplies

  • Community gatherings

  • Accessible participation

  • The continued growth of Mana Flow

  • Future opportunities for connection and experience

Accessibility isn't a special program. It's part of the culture.

We don't want someone to have to wonder whether they can afford to participate before they ever get to experience what Mana Flow is about.

And we don't want receiving support to feel like charity.

We're creating a community where people can contribute according to their capacity and participate according to their needs.

That's reciprocity.

Reciprocity helps us care for the whole.

Making experiences accessible doesn't mean that the work behind them has no value.

Facilitators, space, materials, land, time and resources all matter.

Our goal is to create an exchange that honors both accessibility and sustainability.

Because a community can only keep giving when there's enough support to sustain the people and resources that make it possible.
